Accounts Payable/Payroll Assistant
The individual for this position must have strong attention to detail, computer and communication skills. This person needs to be highly organized and be able to handle multiple projects/tasks at once.
Job Duties: Open mail and stamp code invoices, match packing slips and receipts to invoices, enter invoices into software, respond to vendor inquiries, print account payable checks, monitor outstanding invoices monthly, maintain files and keep vendor/check copy filing current.
Complete bi-weekly and monthly processing for payroll, process federal taxes deposits, child support, retirement contributions and garnishments as needed. Assist with new hire set up in system.
-Associate's degree(Business Administration or Accounting) preferred.
-High School degree required
-At least 2 years of accounting or payroll experience preferred.
This position has the ability to be cross trained in other areas of accounting such as accounts receivable and month end procedures.
